Meet the Board

Board of Directors

Jeff Young, Army Veteran

Board President, Army Veteran

Jeff is a combat Veteran who has spent years working to help his military brothers and sisters with housing, jobs and making connections in the community. His passion for this project is tangible.

Sean Patrick Higgins

Board Vice-President, Founder of Veteran Village - AMNACS

Sean is the son of a Green Beret who fought in the Vietnam War.  He tells of how his father struggled with homelessness and a distrust of the VA, which made this project a heart project for Sean.

Nickole Young

Board Treasurer

The wife of a combat Veteran, Nickole brings the perspective of caregiver and spouse to the table. She is good with numbers and has dived into the board with fervor.  She is incredibly supportive and great with marketing and coming up with ideas!

Blaine Deahl

Board Member

Blaine's commitment to supporting veterans stems from his personal experiences with family members who have served in the military. Witnessing the challenges they faced after their service, Blaine developed a deep understanding of the needs within the veteran community. These experiences ignited his passion for making a positive impact, driving him to dedicate his efforts to improving the lives of those who have served.

Jessica Deahl

Executive Director

Jessica comes from a proud military family, with both her father and grandfather having served. Her father's dedication has been a source of inspiration, instilling in her the values of strength and perseverance. Jessica has devoted years to working with at-risk students, a journey that has deepened her empathy and broadened her perspective. These experiences have uniquely equipped her to contribute meaningfully to the growth and mission of the organization.
